PulseWorx UPB Starter Kit, RS232 The SPK1 Starter Kit is a great package that allows you to easily install and program a simple PulseWorx lighting control system. Kit Includes: (1) WS1D6W: Wall Switch Dimmer, 600W, White; (1) KPCW6W: 6-Button Keypad Controller, White; (1) PIMR: Powerline Interface Module (RS-232); (1) RWSW: Remote Wall Switch, White. The included Wall Switch Dimmer provides local control and UPB remote control of a lighting load. Controllers can remotely command your Wall Switch Dimmer to go to different light levels at different fade rates. Because it communicates on the powerline, this device requires no new wires to install. The dimmer can store up to 16 preset light levels and fade rates which allow it to be involved in single command triggered scenes. The dimmer has a decora-style rocker switch that is used to control its lighting load. The rocker switch can be used to turn the lights on and off as well as to brighten and dim the lights. Not only does the rocker switch control the lighting load, but it can also be configured to transmit UPB commands and reports that are useful in controlling other devices and providing feedback to display devices. The included Remote Wall Switch connects to the Wall Switch Dimmer via the yellow "traveler" wire to provide three-way or multi-way control, perfect for long hallways or stairways. The included Keypad provides local control of the wall switches. Programming timed events couldn't be simpler using free UPStart Setup Software.
